Polk County Special Olympics will now be alternating sites. We will conduct Special Olympics in Rockmart and Cedartown. The events will alternate yearly between Nathan Dean Park and Bert Wood Park.

This year we will host Special Olympics in Cedartown. We have athletes in both Rockmart and Cedartown. We believe that we are Better Together and this is an excellent opportunity for our athletes.
Nathan Dean Park Rockmart, GA
Nathan Dean Park has been the host of Special Olympics for years. It is a great site for our athletes to come and participate in various events.
We are truly "Better Together" by working across our county to make these events possible!
What is Special Olympics?
Polk County Special Olympics offers students and adults with intellectual disabilities to participate in sporting events. These events help to build collaboration among non-disabled and disabled peers in a fun, non-competitive manner.
We strive to have all of our athletes discover their fullest potential, develop physical fitness, experience joy and friendship, and demonstrate courage all while celebrating diversity among others.
